Occasional Observations of Traveling Technology Coach

The sequel to Shades of Grey by Jasper FForde just came out and it is an excellent. No spoilers in this posting.

I found one text error and wrote to both Mr. Fforde and the publisher Soho Press (yet to get a response). Here is the email I sent:

“I love the new Jasper Fforde book Red Side Story and I found a text mistake that got past your editors. Details:

“To our right there were cliffs and rugged coastline which led to a headland about a mile away, and to our right there was more of the same — just with a headland perhaps six or seven miles distant.”

One of the two “our right”s should be an “our left.”

Edition is hardcover, 2024, Soho press inc, isbn 978-1-64129-628-1, usa printing.”

Do you think I will get a “thank you” in the corrected paperback release?
